So glad I didn't listen to the bad review

I'm soooo grateful I didn't listen to the poor review listed earlier. Looking for a new stylist I had heard Salon Utopia was the place to go. I walked in feeling incredibly anxious. The woman that greeted me at the front desk(I believe she's one of the owners) took the time to actively listen to my concerns and reassure me they could make my hair look great. I booked an appointment with Elise. I had that appointment today and let me tell you my blonde hair has never looked so healthy/beautiful. She has put all my anxiety to rest. She clearly has an understanding of how hair should be coloured. It's such a relief walking out of the salon knowing my hair won't experience breakage/damage. It's soft, colour beautiful and most importantly no additional breakage. I will definitely be returning without hesitation..Thank-you Salon Utopia for the great experience.

Awesome!

I have been going there for 25 years and have always had amazing service . Michelle, Caroline and Justine have put there heart and soul into this salon, they always help and donate to charities. I have had customers in my field of work tell me many times that they have been to cancer patients and some of their ill elderly clients homes to do their hair. I remember my father-in-law was dying and Michelle offered to come to the home to do his hair.

Worst hair “do” ever

I have to share, only because it’s a week later and I am still disappointed in my hair. It is probably the WORST highlight job ever. My entire head was bleached, and I was told that was the way to get it done. My hair is basically ruined… and needs to wait at least a couple months to grow out. Not only was it bleached - but I was sent out Unstyled and chopped, Broken and fried. I had to have my normal hairdresser try to tone it and shadow highlight and even then it is still orange brittle and dry. My scalp was burning and my hair ruined. I was told by my hairdresser roots are supposed to b foiled. Too lazy. A important piece of My image just ruined in a matter of a bleach job. Had I known that I would’ve cancelled. I was excited to have my hair done and try somewhere new, but have never been so upset with hair. I had to cut it off short to try and bring it back to healthy again, and it is not at all what I wanted to do. I do not recommend, and am very disappointed.

My sister is getting married this Sept. she booked the salon two years ago for both hair and make up. Well a couple months ago they tell her that the girl that she wants to style her hair doesn’t work Fridays but someone in the salon will hopefully be trained in time to do what she want?? She decided to book with a different hair stylist, she calls to cancel our hair appointment but keep our make up appointment, they decided to cancel our make up appointment. We let them know that we still need this service and they said with this they need to travel to us and their schedule that day doesn’t allow them to come to us, which we will be two mins away from the salon reason why we booked with them in the first place but now leaving over 9 girls stranded a month before a wedding. Way to add stress to a soon to be Bride, salon is ignorant and unprofessional.

Haley was great. She found the perfect style for my hair in terms of style and color and suggested great products for my unique needs. They have a variety of styling and wash products to choose from. The place is clean and well-decorated. Will definitely be coming again.

First time at Salon Utopia and it was great. The service was great, it made you feel like you were the only one there. Michelle did a great job on my haircut and we had nice conversations. I will be back for sure.

What a professional, clean, and friendly salon! I have been going to Salon Utopia for years now and wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by the lovely ladies behind the desk. They can do any style and colour! I can't wait for them to style my wedding - HAIR and MAKEUP! Would recommend 10/10!!
