Alright, absolute nightmare of a place. My girlfriend wanted extensions and I wanted to gift them to her, simple idea right? Incorrect. My girlfriend ended up going, got them installed, all necessary procedure done and purchased the hair products that the lady recommended. Great, a month later, the hair began to fall out. Not just a couple strands I’m talking clumps. She went back, told them, they said that’s weird, try this. They recommended a ton of more hair products, she bought them spending over $200. When she went to get the hair reinstalled and cleaned (COSTS $375) about a month later. When they put the hair back on 8 pieces of the extension fell off within 3 days. She called, they told her to come in. They said the hair was pretty much useless. In the end they offered a $200 credit towards getting the hair redone. She replied back to her hairstylist with more questions regarding the credit and she never heard from them again. Of course even if she accepted the credit, my girlfriend would have to pay for the new hair, the installing and tip. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

I had a lovely experience at Love's in the Hair with Jamie! They were running late with an earlier client so texted me to let me know, which I really appreciated. I was nervous as this was my first experience with extensions and I had gone back and forth on whether I wanted a full or half head and sometimes with Toronto salons you get the uppity staff that don't have patience or are not willing to answer your questions -- Jamie walked me through every step of the process and made it all easy and enjoyable! I am obsessed with the results so far! I haven't washed them yet, and some of these reviews have me a bit anxious to see how the quality of the product holds up, but as of right now -- I am thrilled!

I had gone to love's in the hair a few years ago for a full head of fusions before i went off to school, this was before they even had a studio, it was done out of the owner's apartment by her, she really went out of her way to get eveyrthing done even when we didn't have enough hair (she got people to run out and bring it to her while i was getting it done), that's the only reason why I'm giving an extra star. Fast forward 4-5 years and I want to get extensions put in again. Now they have a whole studio and a team so I had high hopes as I loved the service before. I was on a bit of a time crunch so I opted for tape ins instead of fusions. Installation was fast and easy. Right after my first wash to the hair I had pieces falling out all over. The hair was dry, frizzy, and always seemed damp and heavy even when my own hair was smooth and soft. I tried everything to tame it. Nothing worked at all. I scheduled an appointment a few weeks later to get the pieces that had fallen out put back in (which is crazy cuz it didn't even come close to the time between appointments that it would usually be). While I understand that taking bonds out and getting them ready to put them back in is a process in itself, they wanted me to come to the studio to have everything taken out, go home and wash my hair, and then come back within a 2 hour window. I lived 45 minutes away by transit in the north of the city and I told them this wasn't possible and asked if I could come in the next day: they said no. I ended up ripping all the rest of the bonds out myself because it just was not worth the amount I had payed for(probably around 600) for hair that was REALLY bad quality and the ridiculous cost of maintenance that should not have been so frequent(I've had every kind of extension possible and have been using them for around 10 years so yes I know what good quality is). I took very good care of the hair while I had it and it's upsetting I had to lose so much of my own hair taking everything out at the end of the day as well. I'm sure many people have had good experiences but this was mine.

I’ve been coming to see Miranda for 4 years. The quality of the hair and her work along with the other stylists is amazing. Highly recommend her salon. She offers many type of techniques including fusion, micro ring, tape-ins and micro-weft. I’ve had fusion, micro ring and tape-ins from her. My hair is very fine but she has a hair type to suit everyone. Her pricing is also very affordable. Definitely 5 stars
