- I was a regular client for Khalid, I came after COVID, my hair has grown and my roots were different from my ends. I showed Khalid what I wanted and told him to be careful as there are 2 different colours in my hair. The result was different from what I showed him and I saw a reddish tint but thought it was due to lighting .
- I DM him 2 days later , and sent him a pic of my red hair , he told me he doesn't see any red and that he is fully booked , and that this probably happened because I went to the beach which I didn't ,and he will try to get one of the assistants to do my hair. I politely declined as one of his assistants messed my hair and knotted it so bad that it took me 3 hours in the salon to unknot it , and the person that rescued me was Sara.
- I DM him for a second time, and he was busy. I DM a third time telling him I can do it myself at home just let me know what products to use, he said NP and never got back to me. I DM a fourth time and he told me I have to pay since it passed my 2 weeks, and I was very upset as I have been trying to get an appt but I reluctantly agreed.
- I finally booked on a Wednesday, I show up to the appt, my appt is not even in the system . I booked for a Saturday , they cancelled on the day of my appt because apparently Khalid had an emergency .
I finally got in a confirmed appt which I showed up to to find Khalid filled with attitude and anger towards me. He first told me that my hair colour is beautiful and nothing needs to be changed, and that his colours never change. I explained to him that there are 2 completely different tones, the convo resulted in him yelling at me "are you here to fight with me " which I responded and said I'm only reacting to your attitude . I was ready to walk away and told him he doesn't need to do it since he clearly doesn't want to do it . I gave him the silent treatment after this extremely hostile convo , once we toned my hair I noticed the redness is still there, so I told him quietly that it needs more toning. This unprofessional yells at me again infront of other stylists saying "nothing will fix this but I will do it "! SO he basically admitted that his work is unfixable! I didn't react and just went to the washing area. He toned my hair , and my hair came out 2 DIFFERENT colours because he wouldn't tone the extensions (although he always did before) and is only doing roots , all I asked was for him to blend them! The top is almost reddish black and the bottom is light ash brown . I didn't even bother drying it. I just walked off to pay , I guess he felt bad and told me not to pay . I left not paying but also left with uneven hair with patches and 2 diff colours !
He lost me as a customer and I'm currently trying to find someone that could fix this.
