TENANT BEWARE. If I could give no stars I would the owner Amika King makes it SEEM like you're getting a really great deal offering you a discount for the first month and moving into a whole some space you'll be taken care of in, but after you sign the lease and that first payment goes through good luck ever seeing her again...got a maintenance issue? Be prepared to handle it yourself. From feces and urine all over the bathroom floor and seats REGULARLY, to foul sewage odors that take over the ENTIRE building, tenants and their clients yelling, screaming, and children running the halls throwing tantrums unsupervised. The laundry machines are constantly full of hair trimmings, nails, and hair dye ruining your good towels and sheets, and if you do "too much" laundry they tell you to take it to the cleaners even though it's not stated in the lease there is a limit and states tenants have full access to the laundry machines on sight. Tenants steal laundry and then still are permitted to continue leasing a space even after the owner has found out who it was. Security cameras are fake and record nothing but the front door and even that footage is hard to come by. Police have been called due to dangerously hostile guests yelling and screaming at tenants refusing to leave and disturbing other clients and businesses and Amika King the owner will not come to deal with even a serious situation that endangered everyone around. She does not care about COVID and keeping everyone safe. Neighboring businesses have filed complaints with the state health department in regards to her tenants littering the parking lot with their trash instead of it being disposed of in the dumpster regularly. To that effect be prepared to deal with the other business owners disgruntled with her as you come and go because she is never there to deal with or speak to them. The only reason we have stayed is the location is due to the convenience for our clients primarily in this neighborhood until we can have our own independent facility. Unfortunately there just aren't a lot of spaces in the area for those who offer services other than hair styling making this location the only option for now. Do yourself a HUGE favor and just spend a few extra dollars at ANY other salon suit...it'll be well worth your while to have peace of mind you are in a SAFE as healthy work environment and are supporting a business that ACTUALLY has your best interest and well being at heart.
