SHOP LOCAL AND GET THE BEST CURLY CUT AROUND! I tried this salon because a friend recommended it. I had a great experience! There are clear expectations before your appointment so there are no surprises and you can go into it informed and know exactly what you will get. The owner welcomed me in and offered me refreshments until my appointment time, which was quick. It was my first time so they showed me an informative video beforehand and I learned a lot about my hair. During the appointment, it was professional and friendly, but you could see that you were getting a service from a real locally owned small business - a mom with children and running a business. I much prefer giving my business to members of my community instead of big corporations which do not care about you. I value building community and value great work, and this salon ensures I get professional level care without sacrificing my values. Love it! TRY IT!!!

This was my first curly cut. I have been growing my natural hair for over 14 years. They are always dry and lost shaped quickly. I volunteered for a demo model as Aleka’s client for a cosmetology course she taught. Not only did I get an incredible cut, my curls brought back to life and a shape I thought were only in magazines, I learned so much. By far the most knowledgeable curly stylist I’ve met. Will be a returning client!!
