I've gone to this salon a few times before for haircuts and every single time has been a great experience! Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. The space is also well-kept and inviting. I usually get my hair done with Luxe. She is amazing and a very thorough stylist. She takes the time to work with you to achieve your desired cut or style while considering your unique hair type. She also offers great hair care and styling advice. I recently got a balayage with her, which is my first time ever colouring my hair, and was very happy with the process and the results. I highly recommend Luxe as a stylist!! Note that the preferred method of payment here is cash. Booking an appointment is also highly recommended.

Wish I could give out an even higher rating! Balance is the best salon in Toronto hands down! When I came for a quick cut last month, the staff provided a high-quality service — like they always do, making me leave with the biggest smile ever on my face! I was very satisfied with the whole process and it felt totally like a blast! I also had an enjoyable conversation with my stylist, Hiroki Sakai, who gave me such a cool summer cut! It was undoubted the best haircut for me and I look forward to my next visit!

It's a real Japanese salon in Toronto! I got my hair done from Mai. She weighed on consultation so much, before she start the hair cut, in order for me/her not to regret later for the result. She listens to my needs with super detailed care... and I was so happy with the result! If someone who wants the hairdresser to do the decent consultation... I highly recommend this place! Book "Mai (Japanese lady) for cut, colour or perm... anything. You will get what you want :)

best hair salon for digital perm! i highly recommend Mai for women’s hair cut and digital perm. amazing results and service by all the staff!! i made an appointment in April 2022 for a cut and perm. it was my first time getting a perm and she was very thorough, gentle, considerate, and made sure to explain every step of the perm process to me both services + consult took about 3 hours. i think typically it takes less time but she wanted me to be comfortable with everything she was doing. it was well worth the time cause the results were perfect!!! it was so beautiful that a random customer came up to her at the end of my appointment to say she wanted Mai to do exactly what i got! I’ll be back very soon - thank you Mai!!!!!! :)

Recently I went to balance to have a balayage and a cut and I had the pleasure of having my hairstylist be Mai. She was phenomenal she took the time to give me her suggestions and understood the look I was trying to achieve. She did an amazing job I couldn't have asked for a better hairstylist. The salon itself is clean, welcoming and reasonably priced. Overall great experience!
