Linda is the most unprofessional hairdresser I’ve ever seen. How she treated my mom was ridiculous and disgusting. From what I’m hearing she has a lot of experience and I saw the reviews claiming she is amazing; however, watch out if she makes a mistake. She won’t admit it and she’ll lie to cover herself, including lying to the owner who seems like a nice guy. My mom wanted her hair a natural brown. Example pictures were shown to Linda and my mom even picked a specific brown off a chart. My mom was very clear and specifically said she does not want any shade of red, it has to be the natural brown colour. Well, unfortunately, Linda mixed the wrong colour that was on the chart but wouldn’t admit it. I guess it would be an easy mistake to make if you’re not paying attention since my mom picked the last brown on the list, but, since the chart “flips” (don’t know how else to describe it), Linda mixed the brown on the wrong end of the chart. She kept claiming she mixed the correct colour, but my mom’s hair was bright red-brown, not a natural dark brown. She tried to fix it. The red became a darker red, and we could see purple-like highlights due to all the mixing. That was a few days ago. The owner wasn’t there that day. (FYI: we put the chart next to her hair. It was obvious). Linda kept saying to give it a few days and we’ll see her hair take the natural brown colour she wanted. Well that didn’t happen. Spoke to the owner today and went back in to have Linda fix it (no choice since they all work for themselves). She was rude the entire time, except when the owner was around. It was like my mom’s request to want the service she paid for (getting the right colour) was ridiculous and was a big burden to Linda. Whatever she tried, it wouldn’t work. My mom now has basically a mix of dark red on top which goes almost black the further down you go (purple in the light). Linda kept trying to justify what she was doing and it was getting ridiculous. When we spoke to the owner he agreed that what my mom asked for is not what she got, but Linda did not like that and started telling lies to cover herself. When Linda started lying and basically saying my mom was a liar, we had to leave extremely upset. Maybe Linda’s good when everything goes well, but we can definitely say that when she makes a mistake she can’t own up to it.

Linda at Salon Cléopâtre is wonderful. She listens to what I want and she takes her time and makes sure my hair looks great before I leave. A nice salon with many gift ideas and jewelry too!

Worst haircut I have ever had. NOT IMPRESSED. Asked her what I should do about my dry and damaged hair. She didn't even tell me what she wanted to do and washed my head. Was rough, got water in my mask and even when I told her she didn't stop to let me get the water out my eyes and in my mask. I had to grab a Kleenex myself to get the water out of my mask. The hairdresser was excessively rough with my hair and didn't listen to me. My hair is thick so my scalp is sensitive, any good hairdresser knows that. I also asked her not to use scented products but she did anyway telling me it was a treatment. Fifty dollars later I have a haircut that I had no say in, a headache from the perfume, and a sore scalp. I have honestly never written a review like this. At least my hair is cut. I wish I could have a refund.
