I don't know about everyone else but for me getting my hair cut can be over whelming. After months of letting my hair suffer I finally broke down and started looking for someone. I was new to the area and asked a local friends suggestion. She said," Go to the texture room and ask for Maggie!" I called that same day and talked with Stephanie who was very patient and kind. She booked me for a hair cut and highlights. The day of the appointment I was nervous but once I got there and sat in the chair Maggie was so sweet she took all my fears and anxiety away about the hair cut. She asked all the right questions and did not take to much off! Her personality and attention to detail are spot on. I also got my hair washed by Marina the shampoo assistant. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN>>>>her fingers are magic. She may have almost put me to sleep. I have since gone back multiple times and every experience is better then the last. ASK for Maggie and don't forget about Marina.

Such a professional salon. All the staff is very kind and courteous. The atmosphere of the place is relaxing, they offer complimentary drinks, they massage your neck! With all this said, it was 55,before tip, for the hair cut, wash, and style. Now i normally go to cheap hair stylist and pay 15 bucks for my hair cut, but I thought I would try a more expensive place for potentially better results. The actual hair cut was no better than a 15 haircut at first choice, which was disappointing. But first choice does not offer complimentary drinks, etc. I personally will not be going back because 55 for an average job haircut isn't worth it. I will continue going to first choice. Also I wasn't happy with the styling either, seemed to be a bit rushed and the style was worse than if I went home and did it myself. Which again disappointing because I thought I was paying more for this. But I was paying more for the complimentary drinks and massage, but I wanted a good haircut.

For those who are like me and do not trust anyone with their hair, The Texture Room is for you! First time in I went for a trim with Lisa (my go to in order to get to know the stylist and see how they do) which went great, went back the following week for her to do my color. I've been back a few times now and she always gets it right! More recently I wanted to try a purple hair color, a dark purple without bleaching my hair, and she made it happen. The service is amazing every time, even when I've had to reschedule they always find a way to fit me in.
