I have been getting my braids done at JAI AFRICAN BRAID SALON for the last 2 years. I have had micros for the past 15 years . Their SALON is the best SALON that I have used in the Tampa area. They are actually located near Brandon so I don't have to drive to Tampa to get my hair done I came in to get my micro braids done and they were complete in Less than 5 hours . that's something that I have never had done at any other salon. .My hair looked perfect. I always get complements on how beautiful my hair looks even after 2 months. They are professional , their SALON is clean. and they listen and fulfill your request regarding Your preferred style. your hair. . I highly recommend the salon and I know you will love it too .

I have had my hair braided by Jai and her staff on two occasions. I was extremely happy with the way my hair looked. The styles were very attractive and her price scale was comparable to others in the area! I received numerous compliments on my hair. One of the most important things that I appreciated was my hair did not fall out anywhere, especially around the edges. In fact my hair really grew! Her staff was professional and friendly and the shop was clean. I would highly recommend her!

Very Good Braider and Weaver. I had a nice simple side part full weave with a leave out and it was done right and Tight! I give these ladies a 5 Star! See y’all soon!

Jai, the owner tells you that it cost $150.00 for box braids over the phone. When you get there, her sister raises the price. When you complain to Jai that she or the other women raised the price, she talks you into paying the new and elevated price from what Jai originally told you. They do hair in pairs so they are fast, but I had the really big spaces hidden in the back of my hair and the $180.00 braids(+ the cost of hair) started coming out in 1 month. They have the BIGGEST nasty attitudes. No customer service.And the bathroom has no running water, it is one step from a hole in the ground. You have to run to McDonald to use a decent bathroom. These people got too much pride over nothing.
