Horrible person, horrible energy and walks around with bad energy I wonder why she’s the only stylist in that salon maybe her interaction is negative🤔 pleaseeee be very careful with her she’s not trustworthy. She steals money from new clients. Be very careful if you have credit cards or debit cards use cash only...

Shop is Beautiful and very clean, Tasha (owner & Stylist) is very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable of hair. I always have a wonderful experience when I go there.

She treats the clients good because she wants to continue getting your money! This review is for anyone who wants to work there! DO NOT DO IT TO YOURSELF! She is the only one working in that huge shop for a reason! All the barbers, stylist, nail and last techs left! And so did I! You will not make money there! It’s a waste of time!

My daughter and I are new clients from November 2018. Salon and barber services are offered at this beautifully designed establishment as well as excellent customer service. Complimentary refreshments are offered while you wait. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The owner is an entrepreneur of over 20 years, highly professional, very knowledgeable of her craft and an inspiration , in my opinion. My hair was pretty damaged and 5 weeks post my initial visit my hair is already healthy and growing!

Chocolate City is a gem in the heart of Southwest Philadelphia. This salon uses the best products and the staff is so accommodating and personable. If your looking for a flawless slay definitely check this salon out. The owner is definitely focused on educating her clients their healthy hair journey. My hair has grown significantly since having Tasha as my stylist.

Soooo today was my first time EVER here. From the time I walked in until the time I walked out nothing but the upmost professionalism I've ever seen in an Black Owned Business. The open floor plan, to the neutral earth tone colors gave a relaxing atmosphere. ALL the staff greeted me with a smile. Their number one concern was my comfort from the water temperature, to how tight the clothing protector was around my neck. They had a variety of refreshments, snacks and little treats that they offered. Its a small and intimate staff, and the owner is Great. She really aims to please. I will definitely be returning! 💜
