Beauty is... Salon is more than just your typical salon. The second you walk in everyone is warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is inviting, clean and extremely relaxing. Not to mention they are all amazing at what they do. I highly recommend them to everyone. - Thank you so much to Rochelle and Campbell. You made my dream hair come true. I hope to see you in the near future.

My 5 Star experience started the second I stepped through the door. Although this was my first time going to Beauty Is, I knew right away I made the right decision. Campbell greeted me immediately and gave me a very honest and personable tour of the studio. The studio itself is very open and airy which creates a homey vibe. I made my appointment with Rochelle and I could not be any happier. Rochelle is very competent and knowledgeable working with dark colored hair which I appreciated since I got color done. Throughout the appointment Rochelle made me feel very at ease all while being efficient with her time. I appreciated that she was on board with everything I wanted while adding in some of her own personal flare to better suit my natural hair style and color. Campbell also added his own suggestions throughout the process and I loved how both of them genuinely cared about me and the way my hair turned out. Overall I had a very stellar experience and will definitely be returning!!

I have been going to this salon for over a year and only have great things to say. All the stylists are great but I always see Deb and she never lets me down. She is knowledgeable and patient with my numerous questions and will carry a great conversation. Deb is attentive to my comfort from the moment I enter the salon to the moment I leave which is so refreshing! I always leave feeling confident and happy with the services.

A while back I came into this salon to get a perm. I have been wanting one for so long and saved up for a couple of months to get one. My hair was naturally blonde and down to my bottom. I made the appointment and agreed upon a price during that phonecall. Also note that if ur using a card they will charge the card regardless wether u make the appointment or not. You cannot reschedule. I went in and was pretty impressed with the atmosphere and the tour that Campbell gave me. So that relieved me a bit. My hair had been untouched for 4 years besides the occasional trim. I explained to Campbell (the one doing my hair) that I was very nervous ab getting my hair done bc I have had bad experiences at salons. I explain all of this to him thinking he would be extra careful and tedious with my hair. After hours of working on my hair he finally starts to take it down and begins blow drying it. I was COMPLETELY SHOCKED with how it turned out. My hair was completely ruined and he tried blaming it on me saying that I was moving to much while he was brushing the tangles out....FIRST OF ALL everybody knows to not brush or comb your hair after getting a perm for the first few days. I was sooooooooo upset. My hair was tangled for weeks and I was scared I was going to have to get it all cut off. The perm fell out less than 2 weeks later and I was left with this yarn textured hair that I could not comb through. As if this is not already the worst experience I have EVER had, he charged me over $400!!!! The price we had agreed upon when I made the appointment weeks before was $240!!...He tried telling me that my hair was longer than he expected even though he had asked me how long it was when making the appointment. I reluctantly counted out the money while he is literally hovering over my shoulder. Even after all of this, I left a $20 tip and he acts as if it wasn’t enough bc he roles his eyes and ignores me after I say thank you have a good day......I WILL FOREVER REGRET THIS EXPERIENCE. I wish I had handled it differently and I cannot begin to explain how mad I was!!! Learn from my experience please, DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON LADIES!!

I recently moved to Philly and decided to dye my hair for the first time ever. My hairstylist was Rochelle and she did an incredible job with my balayage. While I was there - I was offered water, coffee, juice and even snacks! Rochelle made sure to clarify exactly what I wanted and I couldn't have been happier with the results. Highly recommend - 10/10 :)
