I spent 300 dollars today and I'm disappointed! First I get there and the shop is closed! My daughter and I had to call for someone to come open it..although I made an appointment 2 days prior for 8am. And I'm on time! Right there i should have took the sign! So I was quoted 160 for Senegalese twist and never given a price for the kinky twist. I know getting my hair done before if u want reds or burgundys u have to let the shop know ahead of time which I did for my daughter's kinky twist. Ok so I had a picture reference for both of our hair and we walked out looking the complete opposite! My daughter's parts are big as hell and the twist are short as ever. The burgundy hair has more black in it than actual burgundy. My blonde on top and red bottom came out olive and brown.. I made sure they didn't touch my edges! I paid 140 for my daughter's kinky twist and she said that was a "discount" and argued with me about the price saying my daughter has a lot of hair. Her sister is sick and she's helping her out by giving her 80 of the 140, that's great! Meanwhile I was quoted 130 somewhere else and that's not even their "discounted " price. Call Bitou African hair braiding and ask their price.. regardless I was really hoping for a salon me and my daughter could go to all summer being as though I work in the public and have a position where I have to be comfortable, professional and presentable and would love to keep my hair in protective styles all summer 2018 but I guess it's on to the next one because I was totally disrespected and didn't get what I wanted on top of that!
