Shelby is my hairdresser. She is kind and compassionate a quality that is so necessary when working with the public. I had a bad experience with a hairdresser years ago. I have thinning hair and the woman remarked about it with other clients hearing it. I was embarrassed and started to cut my own hair. I even wore wigs. My daughter suggested me going to Shelby. She made me feel at ease in just a few minutes. She gave me the best haircut I have ever had and told me how to blow dry my hair to increase the volume. The prices are very good and the service is excellent. Not only is Shelby an outstanding hairdresser but she is the same sweet person every time I see her with a genuine smile for everyone.

Gift cards are not refundable. Goulds Salon does not tell you before you buy a gift card. Instead it is on the bottom of your receipt, if they give you a receipt. But then that is after you have already paid.

This place has the WORST customer service. I called a week ago to make an appointment for a hair style since I will be a Bridesmaid for my best friend’s wedding today. I made sure to confirm that it would be just a style and mentioned I was involved in the wedding. When I got there, I told the lady I was here for a hair style appointment, they took me back, and the stylist told me that my appointment wasn’t for a style and it was for a cut. I told her that that wasn’t what I said when I made the appointment and they said no one was available to do my hair. At this point, I needed to be at the wedding for pictures in two hours and now my hair wasn’t going to be done?? Thankfully got an appointment at Fantastic Sam’s and they did my hair beautifully. You’re better off going there honestly.

I went here on December 28th and got a Keratin treatment. I followed all instructions completely. 3 days later after I washed my hair, it is back to how it was before the treatment, not smooth let alone straight. $350 down the drain, very disappointed. Please go somewhere else for a Keratin treatment.
