I went for a shellac manicure, and the girl doing my nails never turned the lamp on on the counter! I wanted to say something, but assumed she knew what she was doing. I then got outside and noticed how awful my nails looked in the daylight. I should have spoken up! I was there 1/11/22 for a haircut and dye, and left with my roots pretty much untouched. White coming through and all! Will NOT be returning to Roots.

I came in to get a manicure and my fingers were awful I had a French tip of silver glitter it was all around by nail on my skin it still is on my skin today I asked to see the manager the manager was not in I came back the next day just to speak with the manager and she basically looked at my nails and my hands and my skin and said oh what a good job I was shocked I came in not asking for money came in basically wanting to show them what kind of product they are putting out so it's a teaching moment if something's not done right I feel that you should talk to the manager so they can fix it so they stay in business I will not be back she was an awful manager who did not listen did not even offer to clean up the skin around my nails.

Overall, I had quite a nice experience. Everyone there was very nice, and the ambiance was professional, relaxing. I had Lexi, and she was very nice. However, I do wish she would have paid a bit closer to what I had explained I wanted. I got bangs, and I just wish they were a little bit longer. Ending on a light note, it was only 8 dollars, and for first time customers they give you this. Overall, it was a good experience.

For the price it would be nice to have some conversation or be asked how my day is going. Feel like a total number here and seems like the stylists don’t care to build any type of relationship. But they love to talk at the end when they are trying to get you to buy products. Not the way to keep clients. Really disappointed with the customer service.
