If you want an amazing new spring look, go see Rachel! She has so much experience. She took my boring ash blonde hair to an incredible summery blonde. I have gotten so many compliments, I cant way enough....shes amazing!

This salon has great customer service, however I question the level of expertise. The price was ridiculously high 245 dollars for highlights! I wasn't too pleased with my color as it had come out like a copper tone and I was left with a small portion of my root still dark brown which looks ridiculous. I will never go back. Overpriced for something so basic. Definitely checking other salons that are more affordable. Salons in new york don't even charge this much! #pissedoffcustomer

Awful service! I booked an appointment a week in advance. I needed my hair done for an event. The owner called me on the morning of my appointment to cancel. He said he was not opening the salon that day. I went by at my appointment time and found him meeting with his staff. I can't figure out why he lied. More importantly, I had to scramble to get my hair done. THANK GOODNESS FOR DREW JAMES! This occurred a while back and Truu Salon still spams my email. No matter how I block it, their advertising gets through.

I called Truu with an idea of what I wanted. They said they could do it. I even came in the day before for a consultation and the stylist insisted she could do it. I trusted the stylist based on reviews. The stylist mentioned that she only had a couple of years of experience. She seemed to be cautious, but to the point of being so overly cautious that I wound up spending over $300 on NOTHING. Afterwards, she was very complimentary about how great my hair looked, but yet we had to step outside in the sun to be able to detect any barely decernable streaking. When I got home, I realized my hair looked exactly the same as before I came in. I asked my sister-in-law, who was a hair stylist for over 20 years, what they SHOULD have done. I called back and made an appointment for a color correction, and two days beforehand, someone from the salon called me to basically give me a round and around argument. They did not agree with what my sister told me, and shortly I realized that they were refusing to honor the color correction promise. So, I quit engaging in her pointless "run around" and ended the call. Unfortunately, I spent a whole lot of money for NOTHING.
