This hair studio is the first I visited in the area and I refuse to get my hair cut anywhere else. In fact, over the years I dragged all my family here. Ivonett is totally awesome with scissors and otherwise! She recently got my 12 year old daughter the most stunning short haircut she wanted. The offspring is happy beyond measure and truly enjoys to show off her new style.

I love this salon ❤️ No matter when I go there they're always in a good mood. They offer a variety of services and can work with any hair type. I myself have long dreads and I get my hair washed and conditioned. They are very patient and friendly and always willing to answer questions. I call before I go just to make sure they're not so busy and honestly I don't mind waiting.

Run don't walk from this place. I stopped in to see if they could cut my 2 daughters hair. I was told repeatedly that it would only be 10 minutes until someone could get to us. I decided the wait time was ok, and in the process the woman gave my daughter a brush and conditioner to start brushing out her tangles. After an hour of waiting, no one was ready to cut my daughters hair. We ended up having leave with a ton of cream conditioner in my daughters hair since no one ever became available to wash it out. Totally unprofessional and no respect for people's time. A total waste of a salon

I've gone to so many hair salons and ended always dissatisfied. Three weeks ago I stopped by this specific Walmart for my weekly shopping I walked thru the Smart Style Salon to buy hair products . I asked for advice on hair products to the hair stylist at that time. Her name ENNI !!!! She was amazingly knowledgeable, polite and soft spoken. She conquered my heart and I had my hair color and hair cut done the same moment....needless to say.... I am a delighted new customer will never go anywhere else. I highly recommend her. I am only writting a review because I have exhausted all other options although Ill still contact the BBB. My hair stylist was away for a week and I had an event so I scrambled to find the nearest salon and that was smart style salon in walmart. I called to inquire how much it would cost for a partial highlight. Aby (or aley) answered and began to notify me she couldn't give me an accurate price until she saw my hair-I needed to come in. I went and explained to her that I always sought for platinum blonde highlights and even wished to go lighter however my stylist warned against it. She told me I could be a full blonde, she'd just dye my hair like the box dyes. I picked a color from her color catalogs. While working on my hair, she spoke provocatively about her life. She told me 'her son had nothing to do with her, she was on OxyContin, her home was just robbed, she smoked pot, she didn't enjoy sex with her new guy. After completing my hair she beginner tasks and new clients. I sat with dye and bleach on my head for an hour and 45 minutes! My scalp was on fire! She finally returned and began washing out my hair and saying: 'how beautiful the color was, she loved the tone, I was going to love it.' I stepped out of the chair, my whole back and clothes were soaking wet! I went to the mirror and saw my hair was BRIGHT ORANGE! Realizing her mistake, she started to attack ME, by stating 'why didn't you tell me your roots were so dark?' I left, my scalp was so burnt, for a week i couldn't even brush my hair, missed my event and had to wear a hat! Since the ordeal, I contacted customer service for smart style five times. Each time I'd leave a msg for Lynn, the manger and recently, the district manger. Nobody has ever called me back! Hours were spent salvaging my color but it can't be reached. I have now come to realize this stylist is unequiped, uneducated, unprofessional and lacks ANY skill set to be a stylist!
