Prior to the haircut, I mentioned I only wanted a quick rinse following the cut; the employee seemed amiable at the time and we began without further preamble. Later, when she started to provide un-requested services (feet up, vibrating chair enabled) in the rinse-room and I re-asserted my interest only in the rinse, she told me she was unable to provide just the rinse as a matter of company policy.
I've been to this location several times, sometimes requesting the MVP, and other times just the haircut and rinse; this is the first time I've been told of any company policy to this effect, and the employee expressed it has been long-standing. As I wanted to get the clipper fuzz out of my hair, I elected to continue this time. However, as a result of the experience and the poor quality of service on this trip, I will not return to Sport Clips, nor will I recommend them to any of my friends.
The wait time was average and as-expected, but the haircut was unacceptably poor after I had a chance to look at home, and I have updated this review to reflect that.
