Dunmore salon

Shirley does a fantastic job on my color, cut, highlights, & eyebrows. It is easy to schedule an appointment, and the stylists in Dunmore are all very experienced. Great service!

I don’t understand when you walk in at a “walk in” business you have no one to cut hair. You hire girls who are one day out of school and cant or won’t cut hair. I saw her need help multiple times, and I get it it happens sometimes we all make mistakes or need assistance once in a while but if they’re not trained don’t put them on the floor? Also all the other girls look well put together and she looked a mess. You clearly don’t care about people who come into your place of business or your reputation.

Yesterday, I walked into the Dunmore salon (early ) , I signed in for a cut and color. There were no other customers in the salon, I am not sure how many employees, I believe 3. After they were finished chatting with each other and realized I was there and signed in, one of the women spoke to me from behind the counter and said I would not be able to serviced today as they were booked with appointments. I was always under the understanding Malcolm 's was a walk in's welcome type of salon. I have been going there for years and have Never had to make an appointment. I believe these workers just didn't want to do it.... maybe they were feeling lazy, who knows the reason......poor hired help? Maybe you are no longer a walk in welcome..... In that case change your advertisement. I do know , after all these years I'm not going to return to this salon . Very disappointed in the lack of care and service there of.... Time to move on.

i'd give 0 stars if it were an option. i came to this place for the first time and it will certainly be my last! i went there to get highlights and left so disappointed. i dyed my hair straight brown with a box hair dye after. i understand everyone has a different way of doing this but i've never seen highlights get done the way this lady did them. it took FOREVER. she kept running out of bleach and kept saying it's because i have such long hair well it's been a couple months and i went and got my hair done again, it didn't take nearly as long as this lady did and it looked incredible. OVERYLY PRICED. it was $180 and i was so shocked. i'm 19. work at a damn grocery store and i go to get simple highlights for $180!? and since i'm nice i gave her a good tip just to go home and find i have bleach stands from my hair all over the back of my brand new black sweatshirt. if only i can get my money back! will never come back again😄

Diane cut and dyed and hylighted my wife's hair and took her time was very pleasant did exactly what my wife wanted great price great service will definitely go again

Very polite staff...don't go when busy....felt like haircut was rushed...asked for layers & got 1 layer...(got that style that looks like a mushroom cap on your head which I hate.....maybe I should have been more specific...layers, not a layer)....nice staff, but not going back.
