In my journey to find a new stylist, I came across a very convenient location at JCPenney. I spoke to a few stylists, asking different questions and searching online for just the right person. There happened to be a Master Stylist who was very highly recommended from the other stylists. I set up an appointment to have an initial consultation, dimensional color, and any type of treatment available to keep my hair healthy and strong. I found the system to be very similar to my previous salon, (Ulta) where the "levels" are based on experience, and prices are set differently for each level. My hair is *very* tricky, but I was incredibly lucky to not only find a true Master, but someone with extremely similar hair with the same issues, and the NICEST person one could ever find!! She not only did exactly what I have dreamt of with my hair, but came up with even better shades than I could have ever found elsewhere. Her technique is unsurpassed, and I am thankful to have such a talented stylist, kind and intelligent friend, and a warm & welcoming salon to visit!! Please try the JCPenney Salon, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

I understand that a new hairstylist needs time to learn. But, I don't understand a client leaving without the manager checking their work. Nor charging $35 for a HC and STYLE when I left with wet hair and a terrible HC.. The manager should be ashamed of herself... Not Happy.
