Unjustly overcharged

My daughter went there Today 10/5/23 for a wash and blow dry( no style) we were quoted $40. I told them my daughter was biracial with curly hair, length to mid back above bra strap when we called and scheduled the appt, even offering to send pic of her hair. She was dropped off and Rachelle the stylist saw her and still nothing was stated about price possibly changing. So they do her hair and my husband picks her up and they tell him the manager said they have to charge her $80 because it was like "blow drying her hair twice" They had my phone number, the minute it was decided that they were going pass whatever time frame they have set on blow drying hair I should of been called and told what my options were. I'd of picked her up and she could of blow dried it further at home. adding $10-$15 is one thing but to double the price was wrong and not let us know until you finished her hair. I paid the money even though they unjustly overcharged me but .You don't do that to customers.

This is my hair place to go to get a haircut. Love the people and the atmosphere. I can always tell them what style I want my hair and they know what to do. They are very talented and great stylists. They always make you feel beautiful and very welcomed when you are there. Highly recommended.

Having curly hair can make finding a stylist challenging. I found that Jen came recommended by others with similar hair texture, so I made an appointment. What a great experience! Jen is knowledgeable about the issues particular to washing, conditioning and cutting curly hair. She also takes the time to understand clearly what your goals are. For the first time, I have a cut that looks good even when I style it. Thank you!

I’ve had terrible luck with stylists, for years. I don’t think I can honestly say that I’ve ever totally loved my hair after a cut, that is until I sat in Emily’s chair. I am 100% in love with the cut that she gave me. I put total faith in her to chop about 17 inches of my hair off. She did an amazing job and I am now a forever client of hers. You NEED a good hairstylist in life and they’re really hard to find. Stop searching, Contempo has them!

Love love love this salon! Been seeing Sam for 2-3 years now and she never disappoints. I usually go in with a just general idea of what I want and she works her magic, every.time.! She has literally transformed my hair from blah to amazing too many times to count. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the products they carry make maintaining color and getting ready in the morning a breeze!

I bounced around between different salons for years before finding Contempo Artestries! I love the very hip, relaxed environment and all of the hairdressers are wonderful. They are very patient and really work with you to make sure you’re happy. You will not be disappointed. Love it here!
