I love getting my hair done at Beautiful U Salon. Everyone is so pleasant. The Salon is clean and well maintained. Michelle thank you! for always making my hair look so good. All of the hair stylists are so talented at what they do.

I came to this salon twice and the 2nd time I had a bad experience and I will never go back. I went on a Saturday when the salon offers $25 specials for a silk press. The girl that did my hair used so much heat that I was left with heat damage that took almost 2 years to repair. With the proper tools 1 pass over the hair is all that’s needed not 5/6. Some of the stylists there can do hair but not all so it’s a hit and miss. Also the wait times were very long and the stylists started picking friends/people they knew to service first instead of going in order.

I had called the day before my appt and spoke to a gentleman and we spoke about details of what I wanted done and a day and time. We agreed on me going in the next day for my appt with him. I got there loved the energy from him all positive vibes. Thing is I wanted a cut and color. He said he would relax the sides and keep the top natural as that was the part that would be colored. Ok so as he relaxed my hair it started to burn after maybe 5 mins really bad I've been natural for maybe 4-5 years so not sure if this is one reason why. The way he cut my hair after I went home and could really see the next day after my curls fell that I put in when I went home looked like it was a child playing with scissors in the back of my head. I also have bad burns from the relaxer in the back of my head which doesn't feel to good especially since I haven't had to deal with this in years being a natural. I heard many great things about Michelle and her shop which is one reason I choose that shop, but this wasn't a great experience for me. I'm so funny about who I allow in my hair and this is one reason why. I was already nervous going into it and was really hoping for a great experience. It didn't go well for me and I don't usually write reviews and would normally deal with it and move but this is my hair. I hope others have a better experience then I did as I seen and heard great things it just didn't happen for me.

Michelle did my daughter’s hair for a wedding. My daughter has natural hair and this was her first time getting it professionally done. Michelle deep conditioned, cut and styled her hair and patiently explained the process to me. My daughter look great! She even told her how to maintain the look.
