Decent app. Never mess up the style I chose years ago, nor the experimental styles. Not talkitive if you're not. Not stellar but not bad either. They're a decent place to get a haircut.

Whenever I go to Riveras and I need work done they always work with me to get the work done correctly and help me meet my budget Not to mention they do top notch work And are very trustworthy

I initially began getting my hair cut here because my boyfriend needed a basic cut. I was growing out a pixie and needed a bit of a trim, so I asked for one as well. The woman who cut my hair did such a wonderful job that strangers regularly complimented me on my haircut. I actually used to brag about how I sneakily paid fifteen dollars for this cut that other women thought was so cute! After several months of these cuts from my regular stylist, I decided to alter the look and because I assumed my regular stylist would be biased, I had another girl cut some bangs for me...she then literally took a pair of scissors and cut straight across my face. I walked out of the shop looking/feeling like a dunce. However, I'm very adventurous with my hair. I recognize that what I imagine isn't always the way the cut turns out. And it was only six dollars to cut the--extremely horrible looking--bangs. Besides, this wasn't my regular stylist. I lived with the terrible bangs until they grew out in a month or two. Several months later, my hair is finally at a state to begin straightening it. But it's looking rather shapeless. I asked my regular lady to trim the hair a bit, but most importantly, to add some shape(layers) to it. She took this to mean I wanted a uniform length. I did not want that. However, had she actually done that, I might have been grateful. I also asked for side bangs, she basically cut a diagonal line out of a chunk of hair from the front of my face. She then took a blowdryer and blew out my hair into an odd helmet shape around my head. Presumably so she could see if my hair was one length? (Why not just wet it more?) I asked her if she could run a straightener over it a bit. She frowned and said, "That'll cost more money." She did have a point. I wasn't about to pay more money for a haircut I already knew I hated. When I finally got home and finished listening to my fiance's hysterical laughter at my stupid head and straightened my hair, I looked in the mirror and discovered the left side of my face was a whole inch longer than the right, and all the straightener had done was emphasize how uneven and horrible my hair looked. When I used a mirror to check the back, I cried. I can't even describe what she did to it. I've never cried over a haircut in my entire life until now. I posted a picture of myself on Facebook and--amidst cries of outrage that I did not demand my money back--one person said I could try and pull off my new "avant garde look" until it grows in. I can only assume my regular Great Clips stylist was mad at me for some reason. UPDATE: I did email Great Clips customer service and they offered to refund my money and have another stylist correct the bad haircut for free. I'm not the kind of person who is brave enough to face a sea of dirty looks over a measly 25 bucks, so I refused the refund. I also found a much better stylist at an expensive salon to fix my dumb head so the free cut was unnecessary. Great Clips did a commendable job attempting to rectify the situation by offering me a full refund AND a free haircut. But I will not be returning. If you're looking for an affordable salon to take care of kids or elderly, or your unconcerned husband, go here. If you want your hair to look especially nice...maybe don't pay 15 dollars for a haircut?
