I was a loyal customer until my most recent experience. I had been going to Calista for almost 2 years and loved my experience every time I went. The stylist was bubbly and fun and made the process so seamless. The last time I was at Calista will be the last time. I was running about five minutes late and I called a head of time to let them know. The receptionist behind the desk made sure to tell me that my stylist would not have enough time to do everything I asked (a partial foil and cut - my usual). I said Ok, that's fine, no problem. I mean it was my fault I was running 5 minutes late. Once I arrived  - 5 minutes behind schedule, they rushed me back to see my stylist. She was very hasty in her tone when she asked what we would be doing. I apologized for running late and said it was just the usual color and cut. She said she would only be able to give me a true partial foil (I am not even sure what that meant because that is all I ever came for.) She hurried to mix the colors and grabbed an assistant. When she started to color my hair she was tugging at my hair and being a little rough with the foils. I mean - I get it, I was 5 minutes late on a Saturday - Sorry!!!! But do not pull my hair and aggressively apply color. I was disappointed at that point but the end of the service is what really turned me off. As we were quickly walking up front to cash out, she told the front desk receptionist that she finished before schedule and still had 15 minutes before her next appointment. This whole time she made me feel bad, pulled my hair, applied my colors roughly and still had time to spare....?! I also feel like they over-charged me as it was the most I had ever spent there.
Regardless - I really enjoyed going there but the attitude and vibe the stylist projected did not make me comfortable to go back. Which is unfortunate because now I am looking elsewhere.
