I found this person via google (bad idea on my part). I made the appt which was easy to get. She agreed to do 2 feed-in braids for my 12-year-old for $20 (which I was getting done for her birthday). I called on Tuesday for appt Wednesday at 5p. She texted me Wednesday at 1p and changed the appt to 7:30p because she was running errands... ???? That should have been a red flag. But my husband took my daughter to the appt which was not a shop at all but at her house. Her smelly, freezing cold, chicken bones on the floor, dirty- house. Once she finished with her hair, they attempted to leave but was unable to get out of the house because the doorknob was broken. The "stylist" has to exit the house and go around to let them out. My husband sent me a picture of my daughter's hair and the two feed-in braids were crooked. I immediately sent the “stylist” a polite email stating that I was unsatisfied, along with pictures of my daughter’s hair, and stated I wanted a refund. That was Nov. 28th. I hadn’t gotten a response by Dec. 1st, so I texted her again. She finally responded that same day with insults and name-calling. She said my daughter’s hair was matted. ( My daughter has fine, thin, beautiful, naturally curly hair; that I had just washed and combed through the night before. I believe she was not trained to deal with my daughter’s hair type- That has everything to do with HER and not me). This is not the behavior of a professional. She said I was stingy and cheap (keep in mind this is what SHE priced ME-with no negotiation- and she had been paid already) and I was a hater. REALLY……. This is was not the behavior or service I expected. Do not waste your time or money here.
