Always a great cut (albeit a bit short but my hair is normally splits easily and I always ask to have the dead ends cut off) by the salon but I'm let down by the coloring. My hair was dyed very dark brown (with subtle hints of red when I stood in direct sunlight) when I asked for a vibrant red. I was told it would wash out after a few weeks and would leave me with the desired result but it has been two and a half weeks with lots of hair washing and little change. I called the shop to make them aware of this and I was told to give it more time -- see edit below. I would have rather been told up front that I should re-book another appointment if the look I wanted was going to take a longer session to achieve.
Overall: I highly recommend Curl for the cut, educated staff, and products; but research the colorists of the salon and speak with them extensively about how you want your hair to come out.
EDIT: the owner of Curl did reach out to me in a timely manner, listened to my story, and brainstormed ideas of how to better the situation. I appreciate her dedication to the salon and its patrons. I will be back. Thank you, Teresa!
