I came to Jalouse purely by accident during my trip to Toronto. I was in town from the states and desperately needing a haircut and hadn’t had time while I was home since I travel almost every weekend. Jalouse was suggested by an old acquaintance, and since they had great reviews I gave them a call. I was not disappointed! Melba was SO precise and exacting, my hair looks insanely perfect. It may be one of the best cuts I’ve ever had, which is saying a lot since I have had my hair cut in NYC, Paris, London and LA. Everyone was also so kind, so chill and accommodating. The environment was very relaxing and I’m very pleased. Highly recommend this place and I will be returning on subsequent trips. Thank you!

I’ve been to Jalouse twice and both times I’ve had a great experience. Gabe bleached and toned my hair to blend with my white roots (e.g., growing out the grey). I love the results and have never received so many compliments on my hair colour—even from several strangers. My hair is very thick but Shelby gave me the best hair cut of my life. It’s much easier for me to style my own hair now.

This place has amazing synergy and charisma. I would recommend this salon to absolutely anyone. The entire staff are very friendly, professional, and also a lot of fun. Everyone works together to make it a very welcoming and positive environment that I always enjoy going to. As for the hair cuts and colours, there's so much talent and ability in every single one of them.. true professionals that I have complete trust and confidence in. I love coming here, and I love that I always leave feeling re-charged.
