Katie completely destroyed my hair

I went in for an all over color to Ulta salon for the first time. I told Katie the front of my hair had already been bleach 6 weeks prior so It didn't need to be bleach again in order to do the mahogany red i wanted. She proceeded to put me in bleach wash where she ONLY bleached what had already been processed and didn't touch my dark. She then kept reapplying the color failing to realize it wasnt taking due to being overprocessed. She proceeded to cut my hair without combing since it was too damaged too and all gummy. She didn't blow dry and when I got home to finish what I paid for i realized she had COMPLETLY DEMOLISHED it and that the color was actually bright orange with my dark all stringy through it! I couldn't get a brush through it and cried all night. She clearly was brand new and had no clue what she was doing. 3 inches off my beautiful hair that was growing like a weed but now ill be lucky if it grows out thick as before or ever again. I'm sure she wont be fired.

Avoid "K.C." for hair

I walked in to Ulta Beauty in Oct for a spur of the moment haircut. K.C. did a great job; very personable and pleasant. I was pleased with the cut. I made an appointment to have some tape-in hair extensions installed for a very special occasion during Thanksgiving week. I have some obvious hair thinning due to age and am very uncomfortable with it. I agreed to come in with freshly washed hair for an 11:30 app. At 10:15 K.C. called to offer to have me come a bit earlier. I told her my hair was soaking wet and that I live in Glenburn but agreed. I arrived at 11AM. My hair was completely dry on the sides and top but a bit damp in the back. Literally, 1 minute with a blow dryer would have done it. But K.C. told me she would have to charge me $40 for a complete blow-out. She was clearly miffed about something. I am a senior citizen with limited income. I didn't have the $40. I was so disappointed and upset. But all she said was "have a great afternoon."

The floor cosmetic employees are so helpful, and accommodating. Very knowledgeable. They know there stuff. And are very nice. The selection and choices of products are great. So glad I stopped in. First time Ulta shopper.

Checked it out and got my first ever eyebrow wax there, their worker Riri was absolutely amazing! (And very pretty :). I am so happy the way my eyebrows came out and I will definitely be coming back again soon!

I’ve never liked in person shopping, and stores like this are exactly why. I am always eyeballed here like I’m stealing and it makes me very uncomfortable. I cannot make a decision on what to buy with people staring at me like that and it’s happened the past three times I’ve gone. Tried to speak with a manager about it when I went the last time privately and apparently there is no private area or office there at all since they said the only place I could speak with her was in a corner of the store, not even at the back of the store. Obviously this is a sensitive topic so I didn’t feel comfortable going into full detail with a bunch of customers and other workers around.

Bethany from the Bangor store made such a difference with my Ulta shopping experience. I wanted to find new makeup and I had a ton of questions to ask. Bethany was incredibly patient and knowledgeable and was able to help me find the right products. I so appreciate her dedication to the customer.

I had the best experience on Sunday! Kristie M took care of me and helped find the perfect foundation for my needs! She also helped me with bronzer and blush as well. She was really a joy to work with and I left very happy!
